Position: School Caretaker/ Site Assistant 🏫

Contract Type: Temporary & part time ✅

Pay: £15-£16 per hour + Holiday Pay + Benefits 💷

Are you a proactive and friendly individual with a passion for creating a welcoming environment? We're looking for a dedicated School Caretaker/ Site Assistant to join a friendly school in Newham. We believe that a well-kept school is key to student success. You'll play a vital role in ensuring facilities are safe, welcoming, and ready for students and staff.

If you enjoy maintenance work, have a range of DIY skills and would be interested in working in a school environment, this could be the role you've been looking for! As a School Caretaker/ Site Assistant you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support, generally maintaining school facilities and opening/closing of the site. From overseeing routine repairs to managing facilities, you'll be the go-to person for all things related to the school's infrastructure.

• Support the day-to-day operations of the school 🏫
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of facilities and DIY 🧹
• Assist with setup for events and activities 🎉
• Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors 😊
• Manage security and safety measures - responsible key holder 🔒
