Equitas are recruiting dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Care Workers on behalf of our client to join a supportive team in Fallowfield, Manchester. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and thriving in a rewarding, challenging environment.

You will be supporting children aged 11-17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). The care home has capacity for up to 3 children, allowing a close and supportive environment.

• Day shifts run 8:00 am - 11:00 pm (predominantly long days), however they will occasionally be 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
• Night shifts run 10:30 pm - 8:30 am
• Day staff work an average of 35 hours per week (some weeks more, some weeks less)
• Night staff work an average of 30-40 hours per week depending on the rota
• Shift patterns can be discussed during the interview for shortlisted candidates

• Ideally hold a Level 4 Diploma in Health & Social Care, but this is not essential if you have significant experience working with SEMH, EBD, or in similar settings
• Genuine passion for supporting children and helping them achieve their potential
• Flexible and able to work evenings, weekends, and nights as required
• Strong communication, patience, and resilience
