Job summary

A leading NHS foundation trust in Chelmsford is seeking an inspiring pharmacist to join their inpatient mental health pharmacy team. The candidate will provide clinical leadership, optimize medicines for patients, and improve care pathways. Responsibilities include coaching ward teams, acting as a senior referral point, and ensuring the safe use of psychotropic medicines. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy, be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, and have experience or transferable skills in mental health pharmacy. Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent required.
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Evidence of postgraduate training and CPD in clinical pharmacy practice.
  • Experience in mental health pharmacy preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and optimize medicines for patients.
