Position: Registered Home Care Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Home Care Manager to join our team in Didcot, Oxfordshire. As a Home Care Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of high-quality care and support services to individuals within their own homes. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while leading a dedicated team of care professionals.

1. Manage and supervise a team of care staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
2. Develop and maintain care plans for each individual, ensuring they are tailored to their specific needs and preferences
3. Monitor and review the quality of care provided, making necessary adjustments and improvements as needed
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
5. Act as the main point of contact for clients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner
6. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and external agencies to ensure coordinated care for clients
7. Monitor and manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure efficient service delivery
8. Stay updated on industry developments and best practices, implementing them into the care service as appropriate

• Proven experience in a management role within a home care setting
• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and standards, with experience in maintaining compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, their families, and external stakeholders
• Experience in budget management and resource allocation
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach to care
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
