Self-employed Core Delivery Driver

As one of our Self-Employed Core Delivery Drivers, you\\'ll enjoy freedom, flexibility and better financial rewards, plus all the support and benefits of being part of our wider Yodel team. You don\\'t need any experience, and the more you deliver, the more you earn.

Competitive rates for each parcel you deliver or collect. Typical earnings for Delivery Drivers are between £18 - £20 per hour (paid per parcel). We aim to deliver promises as well as parcels, with rates competitively enhanced for mileage and operational costs.

Daily & Weekly Payment Options

• Flexible payment options for Self Employed drivers: access earnings from the next day via the app provided by our early access partner, Onsi.
• Alternatively, join the weekly payment cycle scheme, which kicks in after 4 weeks of completed delivery services.

Both options allow you to receive more regular payments for the delivery services you have provided.

We have plenty of parcels to deliver

Parcels weigh up to 15kg and vary in size. You can realistically deliver and collect between 16-25 parcels per hour depending on area and experience, for 6 days a week. The more you deliver, the more you earn, with opportunities to take more parcels and boost revenue.

We\'ll give you freedom and flexibility

You can plan your own route or use our award-winning app with built-in optimisation to plan routes, prepare deliveries, and liaise directly with customers.

We\'ll offer regular work in the same area, 6 days a week

We deliver parcels for some of the biggest retailers, so there\'s no shortage of parcels to deliver. You\'ll stay local and get to know the roads and customers.

We\'ll develop and support you

You\\\'ll have the independence of being self-employed plus backing from our expert team and a Yodel representative to answer your questions.

Each day is what you make it. You can plan your own route, and at each delivery or doorstep, use your mobile to scan parcels and ensure they\\'re safely received by the customer. We arrange parcel collection times or, for rural areas, can drop parcels to you. Simple.

No experience required. We provide full training and support. To get started you need:

• Access to an insured car or van (up to 3.5 tonnes)
• A full UK or EC/EEA Driving Licence
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK
• iOS or Android smartphone
• Proof of your own bank account
• A great attitude
