Job summary
A leading commercial vehicle business is seeking a qualified HGV Technician for their Newton-Le-Willows depot. The role involves carrying out vehicle inspections, repairs, servicing, and diagnostics. Ideal candidates will have full industry qualifications and a comprehensive understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance. The financial package ranges from £45,000 to £48,000 per annum, along with generous benefits including training, retirement plans, and medical insurance.

Responsibilities

- General Servicing and MOT preparation.

My client, a well-established Commercial Vehicle business is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a straight day shift.
Working in an established team of HGV Technician, you will be required to undertake the following:
- Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements
- Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
- General Servicing and MOT preparation
- Fault finding & diagnostics
- Updating all required paperwork / databases
The successful HGV HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter will have the following attributes:
- Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship
- Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
- A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage for isn't essential
- Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair
