A well-established rolling stock company in City Of London seeks a qualified Electrical/Electronic Technician for a 6-month rolling contract. Candidates will be responsible for servicing and maintaining locomotives and associated equipment, working under varied shift patterns. Ideal applicants should have NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and experience in electronic and electrical engineering. This role offers diverse team collaboration and a competitive hourly rate, subject to assessment and IR35 regulations.
Rullion is offering an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrical/Electronic Technician to join a well-established rolling stock company based in Golders Green, London. In this role, you will be a key member of the maintenance team, responsible for the upkeep and servicing of a locomotive fleet.
Contract Type: 6‑Month Rolling Contract
Location: Golders Green, London
Shift Pattern: 5 on, 3 off or 4 on, 4 off rotations over a 3‑week schedule, with 2 weeks on nights and 1 week on days.
Average of 42 hours per week.
Days: 07:00 to 17:30
Nights: 19:00 to 05:30 & 20:30 to 07:00
Hourly Rate (Umbrella): £42.93 / £45.23
Hourly Rate (PAYE): £33.52
Entry level Technician – rate subject to increase upon assessment in the future.
This role is subject to IR35 regulations; we do not engage with Limited Companies.
