About the role

Permanent full‑time RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division. Deliver expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostics directly to customers on the go, from driveways to office car parks. Rise to the mission of becoming the UK's number one motoring services provider.

Responsibilities
  • Mix diagnostics, repairs, and checks across a range of light vehicles.
  • Manage stock, reporting, and maintain customer conversations.
  • Think on your feet to make the right call for each customer.
  • Drive individual and team progress while upholding RAC values.
Qualifications
  • Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
  • A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
Benefits
  • A competitive base salary of £38,625, with on‑target earnings up to £50,000.
  • A guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
  • 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.
  • Your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided.
