This continually growing food business works closely with major retailers and is seeking a Product Developer to join their dedicated team on a 12-month contract. Please note this role requires a full UK driving licence.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Product Developer to work closely with Development Chefs and Process teams on key projects, contributing to new concepts and updating existing products in line with customer briefs. The role involves working with suppliers, managing resources, ensuring product quality, calculating nutritional data, and considering costings and technical requirements. You will research seasonal food trends, undertake competitor analysis, and benchmark to bring innovation to fast-moving categories.
We seek an ambitious and creative Product Developer with a food science or related degree, experience in food manufacturing, and a passion for food, consumer trends, and ingredients. You should understand NPD and enjoy working in a development kitchen. Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with enthusiasm to learn, are essential.
