An award-winning multi-disciplinary practice is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to manage client relationships and lead projects. The role involves mentoring junior staff and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Candidates should have MRICS status or be nearing completion with strong surveying expertise. The position offers a salary of £45,000 to £60,000 and promotes a hybrid work model allowing for flexibility in the workplace.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years PQE preferred.
- Access to a vehicle and a clean driving license.
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture client relationships.
- Lead tender submissions and secure new projects.
- Mentor junior staff and graduate surveyors.
- Prepare technical and financial reports.

My client is an award-winning multi-disciplinary practice and is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join our team. The role involves delivering high-quality surveying services, managing client relationships, and supporting the growth of our Building Surveying team.
- Manage and nurture client relationships, driving business growth
- Lead tender submissions and secure new projects
- Mentor and supervise junior staff and graduate surveyors
- Provide expert advice on building surveying matters
- Prepare technical and financial reports, ensuring high-quality output
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the practice
- Maintain compliance with company policies, RICS standards, and health & safety regulations
- MRICS status preferred, with minimum 3 years PQE - Or a candidatenearing the completionof the MRICS qual
- Strong technical expertise in building surveying
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Resilient, adaptable, and detail-oriented
- Access to a vehicle and a clean driving license
Hybrid Role
Salary - £45,00 to £60,000 (DOE)
