The AHP team at Pulse is seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Meath School. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about using their skills and knowledge in a specialist educational setting, working with children from Reception to the end of Key Stage 2.

Role Overview:

As part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team, you will support educational and residential colleagues to provide therapeutic living and learning environments. Based on clinical assessment and formulation, you will offer individualized interventions and engagement to our young people.

Our Speech & Language Therapists work collaboratively within our schools and children’s homes, ensuring that therapeutic support permeates every aspect of the education, care, and support we offer. You will provide consultation, workshops, training, and guidance to the educational and residential teams around our children.

Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:

You will assess, plan, and deliver individualised intervention programmes for a defined caseload. You will maximise child contact time to achieve the best possible outcomes through a holistic approach. You will work with children individually or in small groups in specialist therapy spaces and classroom-based sessions. You will enable children to access the curriculum and promote meaningful engagement in school-based tasks. You will participate in training, CPD opportunities, and outreach programmes.
