Lead Mental Health Therapist – Mindplace

Location: Midlands/North region (UK only)
Travel: Regular travel to Bupa Mindplace clinic sites (several times a month; subject to change)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours)
Hours: Flexibility required, including evenings and weekends as service needs
Salary: Competitive + excellent benefits

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of mental health clinicians, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
  • Deliver high-quality therapy sessions while managing a clinical caseload.
  • Oversee clinical governance, audits, and compliance to ensure best practice.
  • Mentor and develop clinicians, supporting their professional journey.
  • Work closely with operational teams to enhance customer experience and business performance.
  • Adapt and respond quickly to changing service needs, driving strategic initiatives and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven leadership experience in a clinical setting, with the ability to motivate and guide teams through change.
  • Supervisor training and experience in team development.
  • Expertise in mental health therapies (CBT, counselling, psychology).
  • Strong clinical governance knowledge and ability to manage compliance.
  • Agility and flexibility to work at pace and adapt during times of growth and transformation.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and decision‑making skills.
One of the following professional qualifications:
  • Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (Doctorate, BPS & HCPC registered)
  • Accredited CBT Psychotherapist (Postgraduate Diploma, BABCP accredited)
  • Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist (Level 4+ Diploma, BACP accredited)
