Our client is a leading engineering company that designs, manufactures, and installs bespoke equipment. They are looking for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to produce bespoke electrical schematic drawings and write program control systems.

As a member of their design team, you will work with clients to determine their requirements. You will produce bespoke electrical drawings in accordance with the latest legislation using the latest electrical control technologies available. You will write PLC programs and oversee factory testing of the overall product. After time, you'll support other members of the Design team and their field service engineers out on the road. You'll actively be involved in their research and development for new innovative products they are looking to bring to market. From time to time, you will attend trade shows and seminars to learn about developments in the industry.

1. Liaising with clients by email, phone, and when necessary, attending meetings either remotely or in person on site.
2. Project managing the design, manufacture, programming, and testing of electrical control systems.
3. Fault finding and prevention.
4. Keeping up to date with relevant design standards and legislation.
5. Design of control systems.
6. Research, development, and implementation of new technologies.

1. Electrical engineering focused degree minimum.
2. Knowledge of using electrical design packages such as AutoCAD, Solidworks.
3. Knowledge in PLC Programming.
4. Project management skills.
5. Knowledge of HMI & MODBUS Protocol.

Up to £30,000 with an extremely competitive benefits package.
