Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Prepare and present timely financial reports.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial commentary.
- Lead budgeting processes and oversee inventory accounting.
- Act as a finance partner to operational teams.
Skills
- Prepare and present timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis (Actual vs. Budget vs. Forecast) and provide meaningful commentary on financial performance
- Analyze product, project, and customer profitability
- Lead the annual budgeting process in coordination with various department heads
- Prepare rolling forecasts and update them periodically based on actual performance and changing business conditions
- Analyze costs and identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement
- Oversee inventory accounting and ensure accurate valuation (FIFO, Weighted Average, etc.)
- Monitor overheads and ensure they are within budgetary limits
- Implement and monitor standard costing systems
- Provide financial analysis and support for new projects, capital expenditures, and business initiatives
- Act as a finance business partner to operational teams, providing them with financial insights to aid decision-making
- Supervise, mentor, and guide a team of junior accountants
