Job Description
Financial Crime Programme Manager responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver financial crime transformation programmes.
- Develop and implement strategic plans related to financial crime prevention.
- Lead a number of workstreams across Client Lifecycle Management (CLM), AML, KYC, and transaction banking.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all banking sectors.
- Plan, coordinate, and drive completion of all project artefacts including the charter, regulatory requirements, project roadmap, budget, testing, deliverables implementation, and handover into business as usual.
- Manage risks and issues and their associated mitigation plans to the C-level Project Sponsor and appropriate committees (SteerCo) to prevent impact or additional risk.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve financial crime frameworks.
- Perform risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
- Provide guidance on financial crime related matters to the team and senior management.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of financial crime controls.
- Stay updated on financial crime trends and regulatory changes within the industry.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Crime Programme Manager should have:
- A solid educational background in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in managing financial crime programmes.
- Strong knowledge of financial crime principles and regulatory requirements.
- Experience within Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) preferred.
- Experience in strategic planning and risk management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well with a team and across various departments.
