Job summary
An educational institution in Witney is seeking a Construction Instructor/Technician to support students in developing practical construction skills at the Construction Skills Centre. The ideal candidate should have a minimum Level 2 qualification in a recognized construction trade and possess strong communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to work within a team and oversee practical workshops to maintain high standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in a recognised construction trade.
- Willing to support across plumbing, electrical installation, and wood trades.
- Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support teachers in the workshop to develop students' practical skills.
- Supervise students during practical sessions.
- Order materials and manage stock levels.
- Carry out general duties to maintain high workshop standards.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
