Job Description

Salary: $20.00/hour entry level

We have an immediate opening for a full-time, Entry Level, Materials Testing Technician based at our Londonderry, New Hampshire office, working on construction projects throughout New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Vermont.

To thrive in this role, you do not need prior experience — we will train you and pay you while you learn. You will typically work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work based on project needs. Expect some early mornings and late evenings, with regular overtime during the construction season.

Most days involve driving to construction sites to perform field tests on materials like concrete, soil, aggregate, asphalt, grout, mortar, and steel. You may be the only S.W.COLE team member on site but will interact with personnel from other companies. The work can be physical: lifting and carrying samples, walking through construction sites, or pushing a wheelbarrow. This work is year-round. Safety is a priority, and you will be provided with necessary safety gear such as safety-toe boots.

Basic math skills are required, along with the ability to write or type observations and test results. You will regularly use a computer or tablet and will learn to read design plans and specifications. When not in the field, you may work in our laboratory or undergo additional training for certifications.
