CAD Technician: Joinery & Shopfitting Specialist
Job summary
A leading shopfitting company in Willenhall is seeking a CAD Engineer/Technician to join their design team. This role involves producing detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and supporting the manufacturing process by interpreting architectural designs. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' experience in CAD and knowledge of manufacturing processes. This full-time position offers a salary between £30,000 and £40,000, along with 26 days of holiday and other benefits like free parking and a pension scheme.

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar CAD/Draughting role.
- Proven experience in designing for manufacture.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD, Inventor.
- Prepare and release approved drawings for manufacturing.
- Liaise with designers and project managers to clarify requirements.
- Create shop drawings and fabrication details for projects.
- Ensure all drawings meet client specifications and quality standards.
- Provide ongoing technical support during project lifecycle.
