Job summary
A recruitment agency in the healthcare sector seeks a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker for a full-time role in Enfield. This position offers a contract of 3 months with pay rates between £22-23 per hour. The role involves supporting service users through their recovery journey and requires an Enhanced DBS check. Ideal candidates will have experience in advocacy and community involvement.
Qualifications
- Enhanced Adults and Children's DBS required.
- Experience in substance misuse support preferred.

Skills
We currently seeking a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker for our client in Enfield on a 3 month contract to start ASAP.
The rate of pay will be negotiated between £22-23 an hour. This will be Full Time Contract, Monday to Friday from 09:00-17:00.
As a Recovery Worker you will be required to:
- Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey;
- Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral;
- Reducing alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community;
- Promoting carer, service user and community involvement;
- Providing advocacy for access to partnership services;
- Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self determination.
An Enhanced Adults and Children's DBS will be required for this position
