Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a new opportunity? We have a fantastic opening for a Client Bookkeeper within a well established and reputable accountancy practice based in Hove, East Sussex.
Join a dynamic team and contribute to a range of client bookkeeping duties, utilising various software including Xero, Quickbooks, Freeagent, and Clearbooks.
- Perform bookkeeping duties for a variety of clients
- Assist clients with bookkeeping and software queries
- Manage VAT Returns and liaise with clients to ensure timely completion
- Complete bank reconciliations and prepare necessary schedules and reports
- File VAT and CIS returns and ensure all client work is completed within set timescales
- Demonstrable bookkeeping experience
- Familiarity with cloud bookkeeping software, specifically Xero
- Strong customer service skills and knowledge of VAT
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and pay close attention to detail
- Desire to be a proactive team member and ideally previous experience in an accountancy practice
