A local council organization in Glasgow is seeking a candidate responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the city’s Resource & Recycling strategy. This role involves overseeing the operations of waste and recycling facilities. Applicants should have substantial operational experience, a commitment to a Level 4 Certificate of Technical Competence, and skills in communication, decision making, and resource management. A valid driving license and health and safety training are essential for this position.
Reporting to the Assistant Group Manager the post holder will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Glasgow's Resource & Recycling strategy, a range of frontline operations and overseeing the day-to-day running of high-profile waste and recycling facilities across the city.
