Overview

Work From Home Charity Fundraiser / Telesales Advisor. This is a work-from-home position with a Bristol-based charity fundraising call centre expanding its team. The role requires recent call handling, outbound telesales or fundraising experience, and the ability to work independently from home with suitable equipment and internet access.

Responsibilities

• Handle outbound calls in a charity fundraising/telesales capacity.
• Input information into a computer and maintain accurate records.
• Engage with prospects or donors in a professional, empathetic manner during calls.
• Meet weekly targets for sign-ups and contribute to team goals.

Requirements

• Recent call handling, outbound telesales or fundraising experience.
• Own Windows computer and USB headset with microphone.
• Reliable broadband connection (upload speed > 8 Mbps; download speed > 25 Mbps).
• Good communication skills on the phone and the ability to perform script-based roleplays during telephone interviews.

Training, Schedule and Pay

• Remote training sessions on Zoom; the first 2 days (14 hours) of online training pay is held back until completion of 120 hours service.
• Work hours: 8-hour day (7 hours paid), five days a week between 12:00-20:00, plus one Saturday 10:30-18:30 (if you work Saturday you get a day off in the week).
• Pay: 12.35 per hour, rising with consistent target achievement to 12.70, then 13.05 with good OTE commission opportunities. During Training/Graduation Bay, pay is 12.21 per hour (usually first 2 weeks, depending on performance).
• Target: 15 sign-ups per week. Achieving 15 sign-ups earns an extra 2 per hour (on-target base rate). Each sign-up beyond the minimum target is paid at 17.50 per sign-up.
