The Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator role at Avery Healthcare's Clayton Manor Care Home in Congleton focuses on providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to delivering quality activities and social events.
As the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents, planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arranging activities and events, and maintaining a safe living and working environment. You will need to have a current valid driving licence and the ability to drive a minibus, as well as previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing or dementia setting and organising activities and events.
