• Experience in Water Treatment / Legionella duties at industrial and commercial sites.
• Confident in using IT systems and PDA.
• Competent in working to HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CWST and cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
• Perform LTHW and CHW sampling and analysis.
• Analyse parameters and dosing systems with inhibitors and biocides.
• Disinfect mains pipework.
• Carry out weekly/monthly sampling and analysis of steam boilers and cooling towers.

Skills

Strong Water Treatment / Water Hygiene background

Experience carrying out Water Treatment / Legionella duties

Job Title: Water Treatment Service Engineer
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear.
Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k + Training + Benefits

Reputable and leading Water Treatment company, covering Industrial and Commercial contracts, is now seeking a Water Treatment Service Engineer. The successful candidate will have a strong technical and practical background within the Water Treatment industry. You will be covering contracts across the North East, carrying out sampling, analysis and dosing on heated and chilled systems, disinfecting mains pipework and cleaning and disinfecting cooling towers. In return for the right candidate, they can offer training into Water Chemistry and Clean Water Equipment, as well as training into account management.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Hartlepool, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Stockton – on – Tees, Darlington, Durham, South Shields, Gateshead, Tynemouth, Ashington, Morpeth.

Experience & Qualifications

The Role

• Experience carrying out weekly/monthly sampling and analysis of steam boilers and cooling towers (desirable, but training can be provided).
• Carrying out work in line with HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.
• Providing advice to clients on cooling system productivity and cost-effective solutions.
