Warehouse Manager – £30,000 to £40,000 (DOE) + 33 days holiday (inc bank), overtime, private healthcare – Reading

The Opportunity

We\'re looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse and operations team. This is a hands-on management role where you\'ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring equipment is prepared, maintained, and delivered on time to meet the needs of productions and clients.

What You\'ll Do
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse operatives and drivers, including workload planning and scheduling.
  • Oversee equipment preparation: cleaning, scanning, loading, and unloading.
  • Ensure all equipment is accurately tracked and ready for jobs and collections.
  • Coordinate maintenance and servicing of assets, liaising with repair vendors when needed.
  • Run weekly operations meetings and supervise truck packs.
  • Maintain a safe, tidy, and compliant warehouse environment.
  • Complete end-of-job checks, including missing and damage reports.
  • Work closely with senior management on warehouse layout, systems, and process improvements.
