Job summary

A leading company in Children's Services is seeking a Senior Childcare Practitioner for Waking Nights. The position involves supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, offering opportunities for career advancement and excellent benefits including health care and pension schemes. Job description

Job Title: Senior Childcare Practitioner - Waking Nights

Where you will be based: Cramlington, NE23

The Service Users: Children aged 7 to 17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties

Working Week and Pay:

  • Working Day Hours: 8pm to 8am
  • Working Week Hours: Either 36hours or 48hours
  • Sleeps: Not essential but can be taken at £52 per sleep
  • Salary: £14,50 per hours = £27,144 OR £34,944

What you will need/None-Negotiables:

  • Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce Diploma with social care pathway. (Level 3 Diploma in Adult social care may be considered if work experience with children can be demonstrated)
  • Experience: Ideally experience in the Residential Children's Services sector or similar setting working with children with challenging behaviour.
  • Driving Licence: Required
  • Min Age: 21/22
