We are recruiting a Value & Access Lead to join the Immunology Market Access team. This pivotal role ensures optimized access for patients to AbbVie medicines for immunological disorders and works with aligned Brand and Medical Leads to shape strategy with a high degree of autonomy to manage time and resources and deliver core responsibilities, including core value campaigns. The role owns end-to-end payer marketing deliverables to support delivery of our strategic priorities.

This role does not include direct line management responsibilities; however, it involves significant collaboration across diverse teams. It is a strategically critical role within the Core Brand Leadership Team. The successful candidate will join an energetic, ambitious, and agile team in a supportive environment with opportunities for personal and career development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning & Execution – National Market Access Strategy, value proposition and value campaign design, delivery, and execution aligned to strategic priorities and the UK access landscape.
  • Ensure clear measurement frameworks are in place to assess campaign and strategy execution and optimise accordingly.
  • Contribute to strategic and tactical plan development for the wider brand, acting as the lead for advising on the payer landscape and its relevance to the strategic ambitions of the brand team.
  • Excellence in Execution – Ensure high-quality content is co-created with key stakeholders internally and externally to ensure high impact; prioritise “brilliant basics” by embracing systems and processes to maximise efficiency and impact; identify opportunities to enhance ways of working as a Value & Access team; create and evaluate customer journeys to deliver high-impact engagement for key stakeholders during pre- and post-launch periods.
  • Stakeholder Management – Foster internal and external relationships across local, regional, global, and external stakeholders (healthcare professionals, pharma service providers, etc.) to deliver alignment and support for key initiatives.
  • Omnichannel Transformation – Accelerate AbbVie’s journey towards omnichannel excellence to deliver high-quality customer engagement; support evolving ways of working across the UK affiliate; assist in planning and executing customer journeys for optimal impact and agile campaign performance.
  • Maximising Impact – Support a culture of compliance with the ABPI code and internal ways of working, leveraging knowledge to maximise customer experience and campaign impact.

Qualifications

Experiences

  • Relevant experience related to the key responsibilities, with a preference for experience in field or head office Market Access roles.
  • Experience of the UK healthcare environment, preferably in customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in omnichannel marketing campaign design and execution.
  • Significant experience working with the ABPI code.
  • Working knowledge of the immunology competitive landscape is a preference.
