Carrington West are recruiting on behalf of an industry‑leading tier one contractor, looking for a Utilities Coordinator to join their team. This is a great opportunity to be part of one of the UK's largest civil engineering projects, HS2.

As the Utilities Coordinator, you will help coordinate the work between the design team, utility companies, and the construction teams on site. You'll make sure all designs and plans meet the right technical standards, follow regulations, and stay on track with project timeline.

Responsibilities
  • Helping manage communication between designers, utility companies, and project teams.
  • Checking that designs meet all technical and safety requirements.
  • Making sure documentation is completed and ready for approval such as permits, consents and as‑built records.
  • Assisting in programme planning and progress reporting.
  • Helping spot and solve issues early to keep things on schedule.
  • Supporting change control and design reviews.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in utilities coordinating experience on major civil engineering projects.
  • Track record working for tier‑one contractors on rail, highways or heavy civils projects.
  • A good understanding of utility regulations and the New Roads and Street Works Act.
  • Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A valid CSCS card and driving licence.
