A prominent racing team is looking for a trackside operations manager based in Banbury, England. In this role, you will oversee the build and quality of trackside infrastructure while managing the performance of various teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical projects, leadership experience, and good communication skills. This position may require extensive travel and the ability to work flexible hours.

This position reports to the Sea Freight Manager when based at the Banbury UK Factory and the Trackside Operations Manager when working trackside. The role is responsible for the overall managing of the build, setup, quality of the trackside infrastructure while overseeing the safe and smooth running of the operation until handing over to the Trackside Operation Manager.
GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent required. Ideally with experience with leading teams, and with experience in the insulation and mechanical projects with repairs to equipment. Work Experience in a professional motorsport environment or other high-pressured industry or with in the F1 Paddock is preferred but not essential.
An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role may require extensive domestic and international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.
This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast-paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must ensure compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, and all relevant other statutory Health and Safety legislation.
