About the Role:Are you a social work manager or an experienced social worker with strong supervisory skills? Are you seeking a management position in Bristol?

If you possess excellent management abilities and proven ability in Child Protection and Court Work, we want to hear from you! We offer a friendly office culture with good support from your area manager, 2 deputy service managers and 9 team manager colleagues.

Each small team comprises a Team Manager, three full-time Social Workers, a full-time Family Support Worker, a full-time CiN Keyworker and a full-time Administrator. You will manage these six colleagues and lead practice. Our office-based environment, without hot-desking, offers ample opportunity to build strong relationships with your team and other managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage, support, and supervise one of the small teams based at Symes House in Bristol.
  • Work closely with children in need, children on a child protection plan, family re-unification, and court work.
  • Work using a collaborative approach with families and professionals to create positive changes for children.
  • Embed strengths based and systemic social work principles in practice.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our co-located Family Help Service and work alongside services offering specialist help to children on the edge of care and children at risk of harm outside the home.
