Job summary

A leading global restaurant chain based in the UK is looking for an experienced team member to manage a wide range of tax-related projects within its Global Tax function. The role requires strong leadership skills, a background in corporate tax, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant or chartered tax advisor with experience across various taxes, looking to develop their skills and lead others within the team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant and/or Chartered tax advisor (e.g. ACA, CTA).
• Strong competencies in Leadership, Teamwork, Communication, Tax technical ability.
• Experience in managing and developing coaching people.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and FRS102 or equivalents.
• Experience with finance systems and software packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business’ tax risk management.
• Run core tax areas and compliance responsibilities.
• Monitor developments in tax legislation and case law.
• Design and implement new processes for efficiency.
• Build relationships with tax authorities.
• Support Global Tax initiatives.
