Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in the UK is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work on sustainable and efficient water and wastewater solutions. The ideal candidate will contribute to innovative engineering solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. A degree in Civil Engineering is preferred, along with strong engineering knowledge in wastewater design. The role includes responsibilities such as developing designs, producing technical drawings, and maintaining effective communication across project interfaces.

Qualifications

  • Apply engineering knowledge in potable and wastewater design, including pipeline design.
  • Understand and incorporate various pipeline construction methods.
  • Actively working towards Chartered Engineer status is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop designs from feasibility through to detailed design.
  • Produce and interpret technical drawings and design sketches.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders.

Skills

Engineering knowledge in potable and wastewater design
Experience in capital projects within the water sector
Strong understanding of infrastructure design calculations
Effective communication skills

Education

Degree in Civil Engineering (BEng or MEng/MSc, minimum 2:1)
