A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s fastest-growing multi-disciplinary surveying practices. They specialize in delivering high-quality surveying services to a diverse client base, including architects, planning consultants, utility companies, government agencies, engineers, ecologists, and a wide range of construction-related professionals. Their expertise spans across multiple sectors, including architecture, planning, retail, commercial & facilities management, infrastructure & highways, and construction & civil engineering.

Due to my client's continued success and rapid expansion, they are now seeking an experienced Survey Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and develop a team of skilled surveyors while overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects. The Survey Manager will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of accurate, high-quality survey data to clients across multiple sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader with a passion for technical excellence and team development as the survey manager.

Responsibility & Duties

• Lead and manage the surveying team to deliver high-quality projects. Oversee land, measured building, and topographical surveys across various sectors
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior surveyors.
• Ensure survey equipment is maintained and operated to optimal standards.
• Promote and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations on all projects.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify and implement process improvements as the survey manager.

Experience & Qualification

• Proven experience in a senior or managerial role within a surveying environment.
• Extensive knowledge of land, measured building, and topographical surveys.
• Proficient user of GPS, Total Stations, Leica, and 3D laser scanners.
• Advanced skills in 2D / 3D AutoCAD and survey processing software.
• A Full UK Driving License is essential as the survey manager.
