Job description
Overview

Radis Community Care are looking for a Part Time Support worker to join the Radis Team Ness Court, Burwell, Cambridgeshire, CB25 0AB.

Situated in the leafy residential village of Burwell, Ness Court provides apartments and communal facilities for over 55s, all designed to offer comfort, independence and peace of mind.

This will be a mix of morning and late shifts, alternative weekends, plus sickness and annual leave cover.

At this present time, we are unable to consider Sponsorship for this role.

Responsibilities
  • As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible.
  • Support people with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to their rooms when requested.
  • Assist people in personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing.
  • Engage in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with people, both individually and as a group.
  • Promote independence, choice, dignity and respect while consistently delivering care to the highest standard.
