About The Role

Roles and Responsibilities
- Developing the service offering in line with customer requirements, delivering continuous improvement activities, responding to customer concerns and implementing corrective action when required.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, relevant stakeholders, staff and external bodies.
- Developing effective communication and strong customer/supplier relationships to aid business development and retention.
- To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
- To take a proactive approach to client liaison and ensure that concerns are dealt with or relayed to management as necessary.
- To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs, always planning and organising.
- Ensuring SLAs and measurable KPIs for all works allocated are achieved; ensuring you have adequate resources to deliver the services in scope including direct labour and the supply chain to deliver the required volume of work to meet contractual SLAs.
- Project yourself, your team and the company in a courteous and professional manner at all times.
- Participation in FM and OCS management meetings as required.
- Sharing best practices with regional teams, Senior Management and the wider FM team.
- Working closely with colleagues across the group to promote collaboration and integrated delivery of client services.
- Work closely with the other Regional Supervisors to undertake business improvement projects as directed.
Health & Safety
- Helping create and maintain a positive safety culture, always leading by example.
- Ensuring all employees are aware of their obligations under the OCS Health & Safety Policy, and that work is carried out in accordance with the policy at all times.
- Ensuring sub-contractors work in accordance with the OCS Health & Safety policy.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with the agreed OCS processes including the production of job / project-specific Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements to ensure that works are always planned and delivered to the highest levels of safety standards.
- Ensuring that all health, safety and environmental incidents and complaints are reported and investigated and that action points arising from site safety surveys, audits, accident reports and other recommendations are successfully closed off.
- Lead by example in upholding, maintaining and demonstrating excellent and safe working practices.
- Ensuring risk assessments, method statements and toolbox talks are up-to-date, relevant and delivered as required.
- To manage the safety audit program of both internal and external teams.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Good team member with excellent communications skills with all levels of the workforce.
- Technically qualified
- Previous Supervisory experience in a mixed trade team.
- NVQ or City & Guilds in gas/plumbing/mechanical services desired
- Prerequisite - Qualified Electrician, City & Guilds 2330 & 2391 or NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition.
- Experience working within Facilities Management.
- Strong understanding of Building Services Infrastructure.
- Strong background in Technical Facilities Management with an electrical/ mechanical bias.
- Broad knowledge of computerized FM and maintenance management systems (BMS).
- The ability to work within a customer-focused environment.
- Sound knowledge of understanding and developing safety documentation to ensure OCS/site safety procedures are always followed.

- COSHH Awareness.
- First Aid.
- Full driving licence.
- Full disclosure is a contractual requirement.
- CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification
