A regional police department is looking for a committed individual to join as a Submissions and Biometrics Officer. This role will support forensic operations through evaluation and coordination of submissions, maintaining compliance and quality standards in a busy environment. The ideal candidate will possess forensic science knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within teams. The West Midlands Police Forensic Services Department is committed to delivering a consistent and high quality service from a purpose built facility just outside the city centre. Ridgepoint House contains all forensic disciplines from traditional to digital and strong relationships between teams exist. The Forensic Investigation Research Submissions Team (FIRST) are looking for a committed, motivated and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Submissions and Biometrics Officer.
Location for this role will be Birmingham, Ridgepoint House.

Successful applicants will be required to pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorism Clearance scrutiny prior to commencing their role, this will include a full background & financial disclosure as part of the vetting process.
Appointment to this role may be dependent upon successfully completing medical checks, which may include a drugs test and if required a fitness test.
