A leading education group in Northampton is seeking a detail-oriented Student Experience Officer (Compliance) to ensure regulatory compliance and enhance student support. At Bosworth Independent School, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Student Experience Officer (Compliance) to play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and student support. This position sits at the heart of our community, ensuring that all students meet UKVI and ISI requirements while enjoying a safe, seamless, and enriching educational experience. The successful candidate will oversee visa and immigration processes at school level, manage student data in a regulatory compliant manner, and work collaboratively with colleagues across Admissions, Compliance, Boarding, and Academic teams. Equally important, they will help foster a positive and supportive environment for our students and their families, balancing meticulous attention to compliance with a genuine commitment to student wellbeing, satisfaction, and success.
You will be directly responsible to the School’s Officer Manager & EA to the Head. You will work within the framework set by and under the general direction of the Head but work closely and collaboratively with the CGS central Admissions, Marketing and Compliance team.
Ensure the school is compliant with the UKVI rules and regulations
Ensure that all students have up-to-date contact details, immigration records and a suitable visa to legally study at the school
Ensure that all student documents are managed securely
Manage early withdrawals process, including reporting to UKVI via the SMS, gathering withdrawal reasons and evidence and uploading information
Report changes to student programmes of study or other relevant changes to UKVI
Assist students with visa renewals, including the assigning of CAS documents and with travel visas for school trips and holidays
Liaise with the Central Compliance team to report data for auditing purposes
Maintain and manage the confidential student files.
Maintain all data for all enrolled students.
Verify contact information when different to the information that was provided at the admission stage
Ensuring the timely entering of all amendments to student records in conjunction with the Boarding team and Academic Leadership team.
Gather the required documentation to review and approve / reject hosts for students going on leave (exeats) in line with the latest expectations from UKVI
Work collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders in the company including the Central Admissions, Compliance and Global Sales teams, as well as the school’s Senior Leadership Team
Be responsive to ensure queries from external and internal clients are provided and that information shared is accurate and clear, and that responses are timely
Build rapport and maintain strong relationship with students, Sales teams, agents and parents
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the Bosworth Independent School products and services
Supporting the work of the school in ensuring that from registration and enrolment the student experience is first-class
Be instrumental in ensuring that customer satisfaction transposes into high retention rates among students
Work with key players in the school to ensure student issues that may arise are taken seriously, handled sensitively, and resolved effectively
Issue scholarship / bursary certificates when awarded to continuing students
Liaise with other CGS sites to ensure any student transfers are handled effectively
