Job summary

A leading rehabilitation organization in the United Kingdom seeks a passionate Streetworks/Groundworks Tutor to educate prison-based learners. You will be responsible for delivering qualifications up to level 2 while engaging small groups and developing their skills. A Level 2 Streetwork/Groundwork qualification and experience in vocational training are essential. You will also have the chance to enhance your teaching skills through available support. This role is onsite and offers a permanent contract starting from £30,000 salary.

Streetworks/Groundworks Tutor

The Role

Based on‑site at HMP Highpoint, you will deliver Streetworks/Groundwork qualifications up to level 2, working with small groups of prison‑based learners to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours while supporting them with their long‑term goals and aspirations.

Their Tutors ensure that the appropriate training plans are in place and that the advice and guidance is given when required while ensuring they deliver the highest level of quality courses that engage with the learners and help them to reach their potential.

What are they looking for?

• Level 2 Streetwork/Groundwork qualification
• An expert in your field with substantial vocational experience
• Experience of delivering vocational based training
• A teaching or assessing qualification is desirable
• Ability to display a wide range of training methods to engage learners

If you don't currently hold a teaching or assessing qualification, they are able to support you through the appropriate qualifications and assessments, as part of your probationary period.
