A leading NHS Trust is searching for a Specialist Clinical Psychologist to join their multidisciplinary team in Bristol. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative clinical psychologist interested in an opportunity to gain experience, knowledge and skills in working in paediatric intensive care, cardiology and burns services. You will be part of an experienced multidisciplinary specialist acute team and will have excellent opportunities to develop your knowledge, skills and in working with young people with health conditions. You will be supported by an experienced Consultant Clinical Psychologist in your role.
Professionally the post holder will be part of a larger group of psychologists within Psychological Health Services working within a large group of adult and paediatric specialties within this large acute Trust. We are a valued, well established and supportive service with a strong commitment to clinical supervision, continuing professional development, innovative service development and research. We have well established links to clinical psychology training courses in the South West.
To provide needs led evidenced based targeted and specialist intervention for patients.
To provide applied psychological consultation, staff support and training for multidisciplinary professionals working in University Hospitals Bristol and Weston.
