Commissioning Manager – Adult Social Care Specialist – Rochdale Council, Rochdale, earning £32.18 per hour, in a Full-time role, with an Ongoing contract. What you will do
  • Lead the commissioning of a portfolio of adult social care services, ensuring they remain high quality and outcomes-focused.
  • Develop and implement innovative commissioning strategies in alignment with market position statements and future intentions.
  • Facilitate and drive transformational change programmes within adult social services.
  • Monitor and promote service quality, ensuring adherence to the Better Care Fund’s objectives and preparation for CQC assurance processes.
  • Engage in multi-agency work, using your negotiation and interpersonal skills to influence outcomes and improve services.
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring projects remain cost-effective and sustainable.
  • Ensure all practices are compliant with government policies, strategies, and legislation related to Adult Social Care.
