A leading insurance group in Greater London is seeking a Snowflake Developer responsible for designing and implementing Cyber Security best practices within Snowflake environments. This role requires expertise in Snowflake settings, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with Cyber Security frameworks like CIS and COBIT. The position may evolve to include leading a small team, emphasizes continuous learning, and is open to flexible working arrangements.
The Snowflake Developer is responsible for designing, developing and implementing technical solutions to secure, harden, monitor and alert for Chaucer Snowflake platforms. The work scope may later extend to other products, platforms and capabilities within Data Platforms.
This role will be responsible for supporting the Data Platforms teams in delivering best of breed, secure technical practice anchored to CIS Cyber Security framework with specific support for COBIT framework. Additionally, the role will liaise with Snowflake technical teams and selectively contribute to Private Preview features, also extending Chaucer Cyber Security coverage for new Snowflake features and enhancements. This role is initially for an individual contributor but may extend to later leading a small team.
