Overview

SMT Technician (Surface Mount Technology) – Weston-Super-Mare

Salary: £13+ per hour DOE. Working days: Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Loading boards into the SMT machine
• Code checking for pick lists and appropriate programme selection
• Carry out inspections of finished boards
• Complete associated documentation to move through the production process or re-route for manual re-working where needed
• Carry out basic trouble shooting and maintenance of the SMT machine to keep production levels on track

The Person

• Previous experience in an SMT machine operator role
• Basic machine minding and trouble shooting ability (not engineering maintenance)
• Willing to work early and late shifts
• Willing to work overtime on occasion as required
