Daily Site Supervisor (Primary School) – Clacton

Location: Clacton-on-Sea • Start Date: Last week of August 2025 • Contract: Temporary until 19th December 2025 (with potential to become permanent) • Hours: 3 hours per day (7:00–10:00 AM and/or 1:30–6:00 PM) Split shift • Salary: Competitive, based on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Site Supervisor to join our friendly primary school team in Clacton. This is a vital role ensuring the school site is safe, clean, and well-maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unlock and lock all buildings; set and unset alarms
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety across the school grounds (sweeping, litter picking, leaf blowing)
  • Monitor and replenish toilet consumables and cleaning supplies
  • Empty water dispensers to prevent floor hazards
  • Clean barrier matting and external windowsills as needed
  • Clear and clean outdoor pods each morning
  • Conduct weekly site checks and upload evidence to the EVERY system
  • Organise repairs using the approved contractor list on SharePoint
  • Perform weekly flushing of little-used outlets
  • Monitor the IT helpdesk, complete minor repairs, and close tickets
  • Empty playground bins and support with porterage and minor repairs
  • Supervise cleaning staff and liaise with contractors as needed
  • Ensure drains are clean and functioning
  • Act as a key holder and emergency contact
