HS2, Britain’s new high-speed railway is at peak construction. Balfour Beatty VINCI is HS2’s construction partner in the Midlands, responsible for delivering 90km of the route, from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.

Current Opportunity

Agent in the Earthworks & Roadworks division

Location

Based in Coventry - the South Region comprises Sublots 2B, 2A and 1A Long Itchington Wood. It stretches for approximately 39.2km from Finham Brook to Southam through a mixture of rural and suburban landscapes.

Agent role requiring strong HSE culture, QA leadership, subcontractor management, and reporting. Must know earthworks, drainage, mass haul, testing, planning tools, and site systems. Full-time on-site role with technical oversight of records, handovers, and daily site control.

Essential Experience

• Strong HSE culture and on-site environmental awareness.
• Solid Quality Assurance experience (ITPs, records, as-builts) with ability to lead QA delivery and reporting.
• Effective subcontractor and site management (meetings, site control, EWNs, CEs, instructions).
• Proven planning and technical experience (earthworks / drainage / mass haul / landscape + MS Project / P6 / Tilos).
• Advanced software skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD; others desirable) and commitment to full-time site hours.
