The Job

The role includes teaching from non-accredited and up to Level 2 in Spanish courses. Courses are delivered during the day and evenings, in-house.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver teaching and learning that meets the individual needs of the learners and help them develop their skills, knowledge, and understanding.
  • Assess and provide meaningful and developmental feedback to learners as required.
  • Deliver Pre Course Interviews to ensure learners are enrolled in the right class at the right level where necessary.
  • Ensure assessment records are kept up-to-date and targets are met.
  • Take initiative and the ability to research, produce, and use teaching resources to maintain high standards of learning in different environments including the use of e-learning. Develop and use new methods of teaching and learning to engage and motivate learners.
  • Understanding of Equality and Diversity and safeguarding requirements under the Safeguarding of Children & Vulnerable Adults regulations.
  • Travel to and from delivery centres as required.
About You / Qualifications
  • Some experience of teaching or training
  • A level 3 vocational qualification or above in Spanish
  • Level 4 teaching qualification or willingness to achieve (free CPD training)
  • GCSE A*-C English and Mathematics or equivalent
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workload
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • You will be required to teach at college locations
