Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Service Technician. The Service Technician will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting issues, providing field service, and ensuring high-quality customer service. The role involves regular customer interaction to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Skills in Maintenance & Repair, and Field Service
  • Competence in Troubleshooting and Customer Service
  • Ability to perform tasks independently and remotely
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Previous experience in a technical service role is a plus
  • Relevant technical or vocational training is preferred
  • Work experience on packaging machinery would be desirable
  • Willingness to travel in the UK & Ireland (Min 60%)
  • Completed an apprenticeship in electronics/mechatronics at least three years long; an apprenticeship as a technician is desired
Educational Requirements
  • Ideally, completed an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer Apprenticeship
  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills
  • City and Guilds 17th Edition Electrical Installations BS7671 or higher
  • Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
