Overview

Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and creative Sensory Curriculum Tutor to work with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) students in Fareham. This role is ideal for educators who specialise in sensory integration and child-led learning approaches, particularly for pupils with SEND, SEMH, or complex needs.

You will be delivering 1:1 and small group sessions that focus on sensory engagement, emotional regulation, and foundational learning through play and exploration. The role may be based in alternative provisions, nurseries, or home settings, depending on the student\'s needs.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver sensory-based lessons tailored to EYFS developmental stages.
  • Support children with additional needs including autism, ADHD, and sensory processing challenges.
  • Use creative strategies to engage learners and promote emotional and social development.
  • Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support.
  • Track progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning goals.
About you
  • Experience working with young children in a sensory or SEND setting.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Two professional child-related references.
