Senior Surveyor Social Housing Compliance

Temporary / Ongoing | Liverpool

Opportunity for Permanent Work £55k level

A social housing provider is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join their team on a temporary, ongoing basis. This role requires a strong understanding of compliance across all areas of asset management, alongside proven leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee compliance activities across the housing stock, including fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, water safety and wider building safety
  • Lead, support and mentor a small team
  • Carry out technical inspections and ensure accurate reporting standards
  • Ensure all works meet statutory and regulatory requirements, including Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement
  • Provide expert technical advice to senior management and contribute to strategic planning
Requirements:
  • A recognised technical or surveying qualification (e.g. MCIOB, MRICS, HNC / HND in Building Surveying or equivalent)
