Overview

Muve Children's Services is recruiting experienced Senior Support Workers/Care Assistants to work with young adults (16-19 years of age) and children (under 16 years of age) within their own homes. The ideal candidate will be expected to work well within the residential care home environment, as well as access the community or support in various hospital locations.

Responsibilities

• Work within the residential care home environment, and access the community or support in hospital locations as required.
• Be able to Lone work within the community at times; proactively engage in activities with clients and seek to deliver a person-centered approach at all times.
• Complete mandatory care notes and follow care plans provided via a digital care planning app on mobile phones.
• Undertake personal care, support in the community, and meal preparation as needed.

Qualifications/Experience

• Experience within any of the following, or a combination: Challenging Behaviour, Learning Disabilities, Complex Care, Mental Health, Personal Care.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience within a CQC/OFSTED regulated care provider (with a track record of good or outstanding ratings preferred).
• Candidates must drive and have access to a vehicle.
