Overview

Senior Radiographer North Staffs Hospital | Radiology | Permanent | Part Time | Up to £38,000 pro rata depending on experience. 25 hours per week.

As a Senior Radiographer at our hospital, you’ll have a BSc degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, have a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you’ll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately.

Main duties / Responsibilities
  • See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy
  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload – in the department, on the ward and in theatre
  • Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities
  • Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues
  • Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion
About us

Nuffield Health North Staffordshire Hospital is recognised for expert clinical care, expertise and a friendly atmosphere. We offer a collaborative clinical environment with a focus on training. Our facilities include 39 bedrooms, 3 theatres and 1 minor treatment facility with busy outpatient services, plus physiotherapy, pathology, CT, MRI and diagnostic imaging. We are located on Clayton Road, off the A519, and provide free staff parking.
